As researcher in the field of comparative legal approach of psychosocial risks factors and hazards at work, bullying and harassment at work, he as published numerous articles and edited books. He has also given national and international lecture and has lead several research programs. The aim of his research is to analyse legally how the law tackles issues related to mental health in the workplace through comparison and a dialogue with other disciplines.

Dr Marie-France Hirigoyen, psychiatre, Paris

Marie-France Hirigoyen recibió su grado de médico se licenció en medicina en Burdeos. Es actualmente psiquiatra y psicoterapeuta en París. Publicó en 1998 el libro “El acoso moral, la violencia perversa en la vida cotidiana” que condujo a la creación de la ley francesa sobre el acoso moral en el trabajo, ahora castigado en el Código Laboral, el Código Penal y el Código de la Función Pública. 45 000 copias de este libro fueron vendidas y ha sido traducido a 26 idiomas. Desde entonces, ha publicado números artículos sobre el tema del acoso, así como varios libros, “El acoso moral en el trabajo”, “Las nuevas soledades”, “El abuso de debilidad” y “Todo lo que hay que saber sobre el acoso moral en el trabajo”, edición Paidós.

Profesora asociada en la Universidad Paris-Descartes en el Departamento de Ética de Organizaciones, traumatología y victimología, compagina su trabajo de psiquiatra con la ayuda a organizaciones para crear lugares de trabajo sin acoso. Asimismo, imparte ponencias sobre el tema del acoso moral y sexual en las administraciones de la Unión Europea (el parlamento europeo, el congreso de Europa, la comisión europea).
